This cutting board is designed so cutting is done on the end grain of the wood. The colors in the wood are natural. The board measures 1 3/16" thick, 15 5/8" long and 11 1/8" wide. Both sides of the board are the same, so you can use one side for cutting and save the other side for show. The cutting board is very heavy and is finished with a food safe butcher block finish. You will receive a small sample of the finish with your board.
